Traditional options like toilet paper or “just making do” aren’t always practical or eco-friendly. They can leave you feeling less than fresh, and for those of us with sensitive conditions, that can quickly turn a beautiful tramp into something stressful. I wanted a solution that was discreet, sustainable, and made specifically with trail life in mind.

There’s nothing more classic than green in the New Zealand backcountry. Basic Bush Green is a nod to the endless shades of fern, moss, and beech forest that trampers move through on South Island trails. It’s the starter colour for anyone who has ever laced up boots and stepped onto a track — simple, familiar, and grounding. Just like those first few kilometres through the bush before the climb begins, it’s the foundation of every adventure.
