Traditional options like toilet paper or “just making do” aren’t always practical or eco-friendly. They can leave you feeling less than fresh, and for those of us with sensitive conditions, that can quickly turn a beautiful tramp into something stressful. I wanted a solution that was discreet, sustainable, and made specifically with trail life in mind.

Inspired by the deep navy skies of a South Island night, Midnight Plumage carries the colours of feathers and stars. It speaks to evenings at a remote hut, when the fire dies down and the sky outside glitters with constellations unspoiled by city lights. Just like spotting a kea or ruru against the dark, it’s a colourway that feels both wild and a little bit magical.
